New Horizons is about loving God and loving people. We want to be people who are authentic all the time. We do life together. Laughing. Crying. Serving. Singing. Living in loving community.
Join us on Sunday mornings at 9 or 10:45 am for encouraging, biblical teaching that applies to our everyday lives, passionate worship, and all-around fun times together with God and each other. We offer nursery, kids classes and jr. high youth class. Small groups meet on Wednesday nights and at other times during the week. We look forward to meeting you!
Truth Project
Wednesdays, January 13 - March 31, 6:45 pm

It is not too late to sign up! Join us for a “worldview tour”! The Truth Project group started Wednesday night (January 13) and will run for 12 weeks. The videos will start at 6:45pm, followed by a time of optional small group discussion until 8:15pm. Childcare is provided for children 3 and under. Transportation to the AWANA program at Calvary Baptist Church is provided at 6:45pm for children ages 4 through 6th grade. Please sign up by emailing or calling Pamela Pegg. There is a $5 one-time cost for the Truth Project notebook.
Ladies Conference

All ladies are invited to attend the Joyce Meyer Conference in Winston-Salem, NC. Joyce Meyer is a dynamic speaker and always speaks from the heart. Joining her to lead worship is Martin Smith of Delirious. The cost is $55 for 4 people in a room or $105 for 2 people in a room. This cost includes a 2 night hotel stay with breakfast served at the hotel, transportation if you will be carpooling with us, and parking at the coliseum. Your lunch and dinner will be on your own. The conference itself is free. Please sign up by February 1. A deposit of $25 (for 4 to a room) or $50 (for 2 to a room) is due by February 14th and payment in full is due by March 7th. Men's Morning Groups

All men are invited to join us for one of our morning men’s groups. Men’s Bible Study meets Tuesdays at 7am at New Horizons Church. There is a location change for the Men’s Mentoring group that meets Wednesdays at 7am. They will now meet at Lucie Monroe’s Specialty Coffee (1600 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg—next to The Weigh Station). Also, for any men that are interested, before both men’s groups, there will be a group meeting at 6:40am for a time of prayer for the men and the families of the church. Please contact Pastor Rich with any questions.
Missions Awareness Month
February is Missions Awareness Month at New Horizons, and we are excited to incorporate a time of prayer for our different missions partners around the world in our Sunday morning services. This Sunday, we will be praying for Africa—the work among the Fulani people in Niger and missionary Peter de Jong, and missionaries Dan and Rebecca Hall who are serving with Campus Crusade in North Africa. We will also be taking our monthly missions offering to financially partner with what God is doing through our church throughout the world.
